Cooked meat and chicken meals due to their high nutritive value and agreeable taste. Meat meals have an excellent source of high-quality protein vitamin and mineral. Raw materials of bad microbial quality, bad personal hygiene and consumption at room temperature lead to contamination of foods with pathogenic bacteria especially Salmonellae and coliforms, causing potential risk to human. Incorrect habits responsible for microbial food borne illness reported and typically involve cross contamination of raw and cooked foods, poor cooking and storage at unsuitable temperature. Staphylococcal food poisoning has rapid onset and its symptoms include nausea and strong vomiting with or without diarrhea. Salmonella spp can persist on final raw products.

COVID-19 was identified as the causative virus of pneumonia based on unknown etiology. COVID-19 has multiple characteristics distinct from other infectious diseases, including high infectivity during incubation, time delay between real dynamics and daily numbers of confirmed cases, and the intervention effects of quarantine and control measures. Public health concerns are being paid globally on how many people are infected and suspected reach to pandemics. Therefore, it is urgent to develop a mathematical model to estimate the transmissibility and dynamic of the transmission of the virus.

The successful of pregnancy in humans and rodents occur between the interaction maternal and fetal interface, specially involving the participation of uNK cells. This interaction involved neo angiogenesis, placentation and presence of mediators like nitric oxide. During the pregnancy the administration of LPS in the dams can results in necrosis, preterm birth, IUGR, miscarriage or neurological problem. Once the uNK cells are activated, they can produce vasodilators, like NO. So, the main purpose of this study was to evaluate if LPS cause alteration in the uNK cells in pregnant mice and if the same behaviour can be detected by NO in the blood. Also we evaluated the effect of LPS to cause neurological injuries. To do that we used pregnant mice on gd 10th and those was treated with LPS for different times. Uterine samples were collected at 0.5,1,2 and 6hr after LPS treated and processed for paraffin embedding and tissue homogenate. The samples designated for paraffin embedding was performed the Dolichos biflorus (DBA) lectin cytochemistry and anti-iNOS immunocytochemistry. The samples designated to tissue homogenates were processed for SDS-PAGE and Western-blot using anti-iNOS and evaluate of NO concentration. We found after 2h LPS exposure the mice showed fever and low capacity to explore different environment. At the same time, we found increase in the nitrate/nitrito ratio in a dose dependent manner in the uterus after 2h LPS exposure. The uNK cells were the main cell that was staining for iNOS isoform. Also, we found that wall:lumen ratio is very higher in treated mice than the control mice. The LPS is able to induce the activation of uNK cells and this action is involved by releasing NO in higher amount. So, it is possible to consider the uNK cells as a potential element of maternal-fetal interface in the production of NO and knowing that the isoforms is reduced in these cells, a model of NOS inhibition could be considered to elucidate the participation of uNK cells as a possible cause of effectors loss or interruption of pregnancy

General Evaluation of Covid-19 Diagnosis Methods

 After the first case has appeared in China, the disease, COVID-19, continues to spread an omnipresent threat to global health. The reliable, fast, and effective diagnosis methods are important to control the pandemic. Today, the real-time Reverse Transcriptase (RT-PCR) test is the main diagnostic practice as a gold standard method for accurate diagnosis of this disease. On the other side, serological assays are easy to be implemented for disease screening. However, the actual limitations of these methods are required skilled personnel and specialized infrastructure. Thus, in this direction, there is an urgency to be implanted an appropriate method for the diagnosis of COVID-19 disease. Nowadays, the Reverse Transcription Loop-Mediated Isothermal Amplification (RT-LAMP) technique is preferred because of the portable, easily implanted, and effective for diagnosis. In this assay, three main diagnosis methods (RTPCR, serological tests, and RT-LAMP) are evaluated s within the scope of the COVID-19 diagnosis.

A Theoretical Proposal of Epidemic Monkeypox Genius, Based on The Experience of Von Boenninghausen

 I am writing this short letter to propose the homeopathic epidemic genius for the infectious disease that has recently appeared in Europe, called monkeypox. While always remembering that it is always advisable to treat any disease individually, seeking the best unitary remedy for the case, as masterfully expressed by Prof. Hahnemann (§ 153,154,155,273) [1], it should also not be forgotten that the most important epidemics of the past have always been treated with a handful of remedies at most, and very often one remedy was the most suitable, and was called epidemic genius (§ 99-103, paragraphs never changed in the various editions). The intent of this letter, is therefore to propose in a strictly theoretical way as the epidemic had just appeared, following both Hahnemann’s dictates, and the logic of Homeopathy proposed by Stuart Close: exact observation, correct interpretation, rational explanation, and scientific construction [7], the epidemic genius of monkeypox, based on the observations and experience of one of the greatest Homeopaths in history, Hahnemann’s favorite pupil, Baron Von Boenninghausen.

Microbiological Isolates in Patients with Community-Acquired PNEUMONIA, COMPARATIVE STUDY of Three Methods

 Community-acquired pneumonia constitutes a major health problem worldwide. Objective: to determine the bacterial spectrum in patients hospitalized for pneumonia in a local context. Method: The results of 208 blood cultures, 69 sputum cultures, and 8 samples of respiratory secretions and lung tissue obtained postmortem were analyzed. The positivity index was determined for each method used, as well as the frequency of the isolated germs. The positivity rate for respiratory secretions (postmortem) was 87.5%, lung tissue 75%, sputum 37.6%, and blood culture 10.6%. The isolates of Klebsiella pneumoniae (20) and Streptococcus pneumoniae (19) represented 64% of the total isolates.
