Surgeons' Perception to Needle Stick Injuries and Transmission of Blood Borne Viral Infections-Crimson Publishers

Surgeons' Perception to Needle Stick Injuries and Transmission of Blood Borne Viral Infections by Pravin K Nair* and Ekta Chourasia in Cohesive Journal of Microbiology & Infectious Disease

Needle stick injuries (NSIs) are common amongst surgeons with a potential risk of transmission of blood-borne pathogens particularly HBV, HCV and HIV. The aim of this study was to assess the surgeons' perception to the transmission of blood borne viral infections, their experience in dealing with such an occupational risk and identify why NSI remains unreported in majority of cases.

Molecular Detection of White Spot Syndrome Virus from Farmed Shrimps in Saudi Arabia: Infectious Disease Open Access Journals_Crimson Publishers

Molecular Detection of White Spot Syndrome Virus from Farmed Shrimps in Saudi Arabia by
Alaudeen Hakami in Cohesive Journal of Microbiology & Infectious Disease

Shrimp industry is one of the important sectors in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia and it has shown steep production and economic values. WSSV is a major pathogen which causing 100% mortality and economic losses in world wide. In KSA two most important species such as Litopenaeus vannamei and Fenneropenaeus indicus were cultured widely. Due to the sheer expansion of shrimp culture industry, WSSV occurrences was found in F. indicus and followed by WSSV outbreak, SPF L. vannamei was imported and cultured in KSA with stringent biosecurity measures implied by ministry of water, environment and agriculture. The present study was aims to identify the presence of WSSV in L. vannamei in selected area of KSA applying molecular method. Samples were collected from Jazan region it was fixed in 95% ethanol and stored in -80°C for the analysis. The collected samples were subjected to nucleic acid (DNA) extraction, followed by conventional and real time PCR. The obtained positive PCR products were purified, and it was sequenced. The sequences analyzed to see the similarities in NCBI blast.

Natural Filter for Acta Scientific Agriculture: Journal of microbiology & infectious disease_Crimson Publishers

Natural Filter for Acta Scientific Agriculture by Oleg Halidullin* in Cohesive Journal of Microbiology & Infectious Disease
Water affects not only the environment, but also the climate. It is not just a working tool, a fluid reagent for transportation of heat, liquid, rotation of turbines of hydroelectric power stations, washing of objects and bodies. The water is not investigated. We use a small part of its physical properties. In nature, water plays a special role, it ensures the existence and development of life on Earth. Dissolves various substances and delivers to the destination, providing the biota dissolved in it with minerals and organic. Water itself never remains in a stable state. After precipitation, it repeatedly changes its functions, its physical and chemical properties. It rises into the atmosphere with vapors and secretions of animal and vegetable worlds. A peculiar natural filter passes, at the output of which the vapors are structured by strictly individual living beings and plants. The sum of such fumes is a special substance that makes its special contribution to atmospheric phenomena.

Cancer Testing for Women begins at 21-Crimson Publishers

Cancer Testing for Women begins at 21 by Rahul Hajare in Cohesive Journal of Microbiology & Infectious Disease

When one reads about the challenges facing humanity this century, it becomes clear we must do more with less. A growing population must be provided with welfare while using fewer resources, particularly water, land (working surface) and energy. An aging population, chronic degenerative diseases, addictions, healthcare costs and the integration of health systems all entail challenges in the health department. However, we must not forget the presence of old and new infections that “threaten” to become pandemics. Here I will address the subject of global epidemiology and, in particular, the risk of what can be termed “global” pandemics, as was the case, a century ago, of Spanish influenza. By conservative estimates, this killed 50 million people (some sources estimate double the number of deaths).

This is Periodontal Disease-Crimson Publishers

This is Periodontal Disease by José Ricardo Kina in Cohesive Journal of Microbiology & Infectious Disease

Periodontal disease one of the most common and prevalent diseases of the oral cavity has been a challenge in its etiology, diagnosis and treatment. The etiology of periodontal disease is multifactorial and it is considered that biofilm plays an essential role in its development and evolution. Because of this, the vast majority of periodontal diseases are treated by controlling the biofilm that accumulates around the teeth. Is this kind of method really enough to establish an effective treatment of periodontal disease? It would be interesting to analyze the evidence of how the periodontal disease is established

Implementation of Quality Risk Management for Manufacturing of a Non-Sterile Pharmaceutical Product- Case study-Crimson Publishers

Implementation of Quality Risk Management for Manufacturing of a Non-Sterile Pharmaceutical Product- Case study by Ahmed Assem in  Cohesive Journal of Microbiology & Infectious Disease

This article will address a model for implementation of quality risk management for the manufacturing of a non-sterile product through a real case. The risk addressed in the article is the microbiological contamination and the procedure followed was Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) mainly. It can be used by pharmaceutical scientist to evaluate the possible causes of microbiological contamination of their products and will show how to evaluate the risks and describe a monitoring plan based on the associated risks
